As I have said before, the weather around here is a bit crazy. Last night as we went to bed the room lit up almost constantly with lightening. After an hour of trying to ignore the bright flashing light with the thunder in the distance, I finally fell asleep. As I woke this morning the lightening was less, but the thunder was more. All morning we listened to the thunder just casually talking to us, hardly taking a breath it seems. Finally the storm really came around 1:30 in the afternoon; we could hear the thunder increase and as it grew louder and louder the rain began to come down harder and harder! It sounds like there’s a bowling party on our tin roof! Of course the rain hitting the tin roof makes it even louder. Ellie was visiting a friend so Rylie went out by herself and enjoyed playing in the rain! This evening while getting something out of the refrigerator a thunder clapped so loud that I actually ducked, my heart possibly skipped a beat too! Tony was upstairs and he said the lightening flashed and the thunder came not even a second after it. Wow, it was LOUD!
I tried to attach video footage, but it might be too large. We'll figure it out and get it attached soon.
I HOPE I MADE THIS WORK!
ReplyDeleteRYLIE DID GET WET! I WILL SHOW THIS TO HAILEY. WE WERE TO HAVE A THUNDER STORM YESTERDAY. SHE KEPT WAITING FOR THE THUNDER AND RAIN BUT WE ONLY GOT A SCANT VERY QUIET VERY FEW RAIN DROPS! SHE SAYS SHE LOVES THE SOUND AND WATHCING IT.
Enjoy those storms friend! Those are the ones I grew up with and when the little ol tri cities would get them....it was little in comparison!
