Our big hearted little girl

Ellie is a very big hearted girl that looks for ways to bless others; on many occasions she will go without or give up what she has to make sure someone else has something.  She’s always surprising us with kind hearted acts towards us or her sister as well as her friends and even strangers around town.  Ellie’s last endeavor was growing her hair for the last year and half to give a donation to the Locks of Love Organization http://www.locksoflove.org/.  While she was on her home leave she gave the minimum ten-inches (that’s all mom and dad could handle…she’s never had hair shorter than her shoulders since she was two; Ellie of course gives without thought) along with a financial donation that she has been saving a portion of her allowances for.  We are so very proud of her and could stand to learn a lesson or two of her selfless giving.
