We just missed the free shuttle taking us back to the hotel from Disney so we hopped on the next metro (train) heading to our city….this train decided to stop about ¼ mile from the Disney depot…and we were locked in. We were stranded with a very nice couple from Saudi Arabia so a new adventure begins….
Fortunately the train’s conductor made a sweep of each car before leaving and not speaking any English (our new friends speak English and French) he let us out of the train and escorted us to a new train that he had to get ready for the nights work. He let us come up to the front with him and watch him prepare the train (to me it looks like he had no clue how to get the thing started…it’s not just turning a key and the thought crossed my mind that the janitor was trying to take us back), the girls got to sit in the driver’s seat and we got to ride to the station in the front of the train. It certainly was a tour you couldn’t have paid for.
